| Using my free AAA tour guide to Pennsylvania and New York, I scraped
frost off the windshield of my car this morning. The cold has come. And
since I sprinted from Boston to the very western edge of Pennsylvania yesterday,
I figured I wouldn't need the guide again. You all should see the brimming
box of AAA maps and guides I'm schlepping along in my car. The "finished"
pile of tour guides grows at a frightening rate while the "future nano destinations
with potential for great writing capers" pile dwindles. So it seems a good
time to recap the coming gatherings and itinerary for Nano Across America.

Wednesday the 14th Nashville, TN on (see site for details) Thursday the 15th driving through Alabama toward New Orleans, LA Friday the 16th New Orleans (see site for details) Saturday the 17th - Monday the 19th frolicking in New Orleans and Baton Rouge Tuesday the 20th on the road to Austin, TX Wednesday the 21th Austin (see site for details), and the 22nd Friday the 23rd leaving Austin and heading toward El Paso, TX. (Are there any wrimos along this stretch?) Saturday the 24th El Paso Sunday the 25th Tucson, AZ Monday the 26th Phoenix, AZ Tuesday 27th en route to Los Angeles Wednesday the 28th Los Angeles (see site for details) and 29th Friday the 30th San Francisco (details for a meeting place to come) The 24th through the 27th are still flexible and no meetings have been set yet. |
